How to Enable or Stop Windows Search service in Win 10 / 7 / 8

Enable Windows Search service using  RUN:

  1. Open RUN
  2. Type “services.msc”
  3. Scroll down to “Windows Search”
  4. Right Click on Windows Search and Click on Properties
  5. Now in General TAB under Startup Type option select “Automatic”
